Wild Wild West!

Proposal #2 (formerly known as Secret Project C) has a home! Wild Wild West has sold to St. Martin’s Press along with two more erotic romances to be determined. YEEEHAW!

Here’s the short version of the blurb: Wild Wild West Three free-spirited women and three untamed cowboys find romance in three erotic novellas set in Missoula, Montana, the Paris of the West.

I’m delighted to have an erotic romance home with St. Martin’s and looking forward to working with my new editor there. And I’m thrilled to be working with fireball agent Deidre Knight!

Love and Rockets’ new print run is in!

DSC_1214.JPGYay! Here are my author’s copies. Pretty! And this means those who’ve been trying to get the book will now be able to find it in stock, both through the Ellora’s Cave store and in bookstores. Selling out the initial print run is a good problem, but I’m very happy to have the new print run out and available.

Hopefully my local Waldenbooks will have both Love and Rockets and The Gripping Beast in by the end of the month and then I’ll do a signing. I don’t think Lauren can make it over to sign with me until fall, but I have 3 titles coming out in print in the fall so that should work out for our joint event.

Editor of the year! and RTB columnist day

My fabulous Ellora’s Cave editor, Sue-Ellen Gower, has been nominated for PASIC’s 2006 Editor of the Year! She truly deserves it. I’ve learned more than I can say from Suz, but not only is she sharp and insightful, she’s funny, accessible, responsive, and an all-around goddess among editors. When many EC authors were recently reassigned to more evenly distribute the workload, I held my breath until I confirmed that I still had Suz. I hope she wins the award. It’ll be announced at RWA National.

In other news, you can visit RTB today to chat with me about Young Adult fiction. I’m very interested in what people think of YA and who the readership is so I hope there’s some good discussion on the topic.

Isn’t it beeeyooootiful?
