My agent loves the very different (new genre) story I sent her! YAY! Now I need to write a pitch. So I’ll be warming up my pitching arm.
Aside from that, page proofs for WWW are done and heading back to NY, my desk is slowly getting clean again as I catch up on filing and paperwork, and the house is clean with laundry caught up. Oh, and I got some amazingly good chocolates from the chocolat bar as a prize for highest page count in a single day during the Couer du Bois chapter NEW contest.
By the end of this weekend I should have Miss Lonely Hearts off to Angie, because she’ll need some adverbs to kill after EPICon and my use of omnisicent point of view will remind her of what she’s been missing. Heh. And then it’s headfirst into SMP #3 which I still need a more grabby title for.
Reading this exhausted and inspired me at the same time. Go, Charlene, go! And good luck with the pitch! 😀
It’s all fun, Beth. The pitch is done and got the agent thumb’s up, so now I just wait on that project. Miss Lonely Hearts will be out the door soon and that’ll be the end of my con artist caper book. Until edits. And then I just need to focus on the next book! Which is a total change of pace from Miss Lonely Hearts, it’s paranormal so I can kind of relax. Sticking to “real world” boundaries is a challenge for me sometimes! I can invent whatever reality works for this story, heh.
