We went to get a tree yesterday, and the small people expressed an opinion about it for the first time. They felt strongly that the tree should have a theme, and that theme should be…pink. And since it’s their tree, too, and this is really the first year they’ve had opinions about it, we said yes.
So we bought pink sparkly snowflakes and pink ornaments and we decked the halls. Joy to the world!

It is the happiest tree ever. Although there’s pink glitter everywhere. It was even on my desk.

Great tree! I think it’s wonderful that they wanted an input on the tree and had definite opinions. That you let them do this will be something they’ll always remember.
NJ, we want them to have a part in creating their own holiday memories and traditions. They did most of the decorating, too. *g* I put hooks on the ornaments, and we helped with the parts too high for them to reach. They were very disappointed when it was done, LOL. Now they want to do the outside.
