Animal Attraction has been Klausner’ed, and overall it’s a good review, although I’m not sure where the number 13 came from. Maybe the pack grew when I wasn’t looking. Nice to see reviews popping up for it!
I baked cinnamon rolls last night, realized it was the fourth baking project in less than a week, and that for me, baking is a comfort activity. I like the smell of fresh bread, I like fresh-baked cookies, and it’s a creative activity that doesn’t involve words which is a nice change of pace. It involves smells and texture and flavors. I always experiment, adding to and altering the recipe to suit.
Sometimes there’s nothing you can do to move forward at a given time, so fill the time with something that moves YOU forward. If nothing else, a comforting activity that pleases the senses can be a gift and a way to refill the well. Writing should be full of textures and flavors, and filling your life with them is a good start.
Cinnamon rolls? I love cinnamon rolls. 🙂
I’d like to move forward, and am working on it…slowly.
I think it’s the season of slow. Cinnamon rolls are a nice way to pass the time.
Glad Klausner didn’t totally get it wrong. ANIMAL ATTRACTION is awesome! You know what else is awesome?
Cinnamon rolls.
Thanks, Annmarie! And yum, cinnamon rolls really are awesome.
You can never go wrong with cinnamon rolls.
NJ, they were delicious. *g*
