Cranking out my novella. My poor E.C. editor has an ungodly number of the Feb. releases coming from her authors so revisions on Dangerous are slightly delayed. I figure I have time to pound out my novella, or at least a lot of it, before I have to switch to Edit Mode. I’m making excellent headway.

I love the whole BIAW concept; you just focus on getting the words down and it works well with my style. I write scenes in no particular order, then move them around to where they belong. Same with smaller blocks of text. It really does seem to be true that the faster you go, the stronger the writing is. Revision and cleanup follows, but getting the words down on the page has to happen first or there’s nothing to revise.

Oddly enough, this is a story with no theme song. It’s working anyway. In two days I’ve done the whole synopsis and outline with a significant amount of text written. My goal is to get it done by the time I get an answer on the proposal I sent in. Best way to keep from obsessing over the outcome.
