Rather than blow off blogging altogether today, how about another five list? Here are five books on my reading list:
1. Reading slowly:
Dreamveil. Normally I inhale anything PBW writes under any name in about five seconds but lately I’ve had this paranoia that she’s going to quit writing and I’ve started treating her books like a box of chocolates that I have to savor and make last until I can get the next one. (This did not extend to
the final Stardoc because I knew there wouldn’t be any more of those going in.)
2. Rereading: Way of the Cheetah. I bought this non-fic extremely useful ebook when PBW had it for sale. It is no longer for sale but surprise! You can download it free from her right now, so go get yours. Just in time for NaNoWriMo.
3. About to start: Under Her Skin, a trifecta of novellas from Jeaniene Frost, Meljean Brook and Ilona Andrews. This is the kind of indie artist project I’m happy to support.
4. From the library:
Driving Blind, a Ray Bradbury collection I somehow missed when it was new. I love his short stories and coming across this is like unexpectedly finding a perfect shell on the beach.
5. Anticipating:
Passion: Erotic Romance for Women, of which I’ve only read my story so I’m looking forward to reading the others. I’m stalking the mailbox for my author copies.
