So the husband got the workout DVDs, balls, and dumbbells for us and we finally have the time and focus to get started on the 12 second sequence program. 20 minutes, twice a week. Trust me, it’s enough. Ow. The only thing that hurts more is kickboxing.
The equipment entertains kids for hours, though.

Ah, it’s painful, but effective. Something has to build up all the shoulder, neck, and back muscles I abuse by sitting.
Full-contact Pilates is rough also! I get my cast off next week 😛 I was in your neck of the woods last week and took the kids to the trails in the foothills. Way better than I remember, lush and green! My kids barely got through a two hour hike. Silly daddy got lost 🙂

John, you were in town? Sorry to have missed you. The foothills are very green this year, lots of rain. The cooler weather’s been great for outdoor activity, too. Bummer about the cast. : O
