Miss Lonely Hearts rates 5 Klovers from the fabulous Jennifer at CK2S Kwips and Kritiques!
I love this warning:
“If you are already a fan of Charlene Teglia’s work, then Miss Lonely Hearts is definitely a must-read! If you are new to this talented author, then this book is a wonderful place to start. But be warned, you’ll want to purchase the rest of her backlist as soon as you finish!”
And 5 Klovers for Seasons of Seduction III! Jennifer says:
“Ellora’s Cave binds six hot little romances in a variety of genres together in one anthology that will keep you up way past your bedtime!… Never has Charlene Teglia’s fantastic wit been more evident than in her alien series! This talented author always manages to keep her stories simultaneously funny and sexy – a fact which this reviewer very much appreciates.”
It’s so fun to write funny. Thank you, Jennifer.
Charli, Congrats on the great reviews. That’s awesome.
P.S. I thought of you when I was in the grocery store and passed the gingerbread house kits, I bought a roll of slice and bake gingerbread cookies instead. No gingerbread construction disasters in my future. 🙂
LOL, Ann, that’s the safe bet! What can go wrong with cookies? Thanks for the congrats. : )
Congratulations on the wonderful reviews, Charli!
Thanks, Julia! It’s always a nice boost to find good reviews. : ) You write in a vacuum, y’know, so until it’s out and you get feedback, you just really can’t gauge…
They are fantastic stories and deserve every great review they earn! But then, I’ve loved every one of your books so far. ‘The Gripping Beast’ was in the first bunch of romance books I’ve ever read and I’ve never forgotten it. In fact, I think of it every time I hear the song ‘Bobbie McGee’. LOL
Congrats on the great reviews, Charli! 🙂
Wow, Jennifer, I had no idea The Gripping Beast was part of your introduction to the romance genre! I’m honored. And glad that Vikings and time travel didn’t throw you. *g*
Patrice, thank you!
Nope, didn’t throw me at all. All my life, I read mostly Scifi, Fantasy, Horror, Paranormal and Mythology, so the premise of The Gripping Beast was very intriguing for me. In fact, it was in my first purchase from Samhain, I think. If I remember correctly, I bought The Gripping Beast by you, Maiden Flight by Bianca D’Arc, and Six Feet Under by Mackenzie McKade. Loved them all. You guys put Samhain on the map for me.
Jennifer, I started off as a speculative fiction reader before I read romance, too, so carrying over that influence when I write came naturally. I’m so glad cross-genre books are easier to sell these days and that genre lines are blurring! Bianca’s dragons and Mac’s vamps, wow, you started off with a bang. So glad we made Samhain a happy reading destination for you!
