Via Jordan who got it from Scalzi, a meme: 10 things I’ve done you probably haven’t.
1. Hiked many trails of Olympic National Park
2. Hiked Deception Pass (Whidby Island)
3. Ridden in a hot air balloon
4. Watched seals rest on the beach
5. Gone on an archeological dig
6. Driven from Boston to Boise solo (and I wrote a poem about it)
7. Written and published 17 novels and novellas
8. Written and published greeting cards
9. Taught my toddlers to say “namaste” and “Nobody expects the zombie apocalypse!”
10. Participated in a motor cycle rally
I love the zombie apocalypse line!! I’ll have to coach the boys on something like that! I think you’ve upgraded to “preschoolers” now, though, instead of “toddlers”!
Tracy, there’s not much funnier than a three year old saying, “zombie apocalypse”. Or maybe that’s just me…Yep, they are officially preschool age now, although Alex is just around the corner from kindergarten. Yikes. I hope her teacher thinks zombies are funny!
ROFL I can just imagine your kids going up to a stranger and saying, “Nobody expects the zombie appocalypse.”
The greeting card thing job is cool too!
NJ, so far they haven’t mentioned zombies to strangers, but you never know. *g* It was fun to write greeting cards, although I realized pretty quickly I needed to focus on novels if I was ever going to get one published.
Very cool list, C. I love the zombie line. *ggg*
Thanks, Jordan! You have to say it Monty Python-esque, like “Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!” I love your list, full of cool stuff.
I LOVE the list, Charli!!
LOL on the zombie apocolypse…
Very cool! The only one I’ve done is watched the seals on the beach. 😀
Melissa, laughing at zombies seems universal!
Ni, seals on the beach are a wonderful sight.
