Sylvia tagged me. So, here are 7 random facts about me, which combined with yesterday’s post will tell you more than you ever wanted to know.
1. I can drink a pot of coffee and go right to sleep.
2. I used to devour Tales From the Crypt comics. They were wonderfully lurid.
3. I love sweats. Warm, cozy, comfy, and they never get in your way.
4. I like opera. It’s loud and dramatic and splashes emotion all over with wild abandon. My favorite is Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.
5. I have a cat who’s afraid of the dark.
6. I like riding ferries.
7. I have a Klein bottle. I think it’s hilarious. Which probably says…too much about me.
I love Mozart, too. 🙂
My kids love Mozart, too. I almost put “Don Giovanni” down, but the thing is, the spoof opera “The Stoned Guest” is stuck in my head so I laugh at inappropriate moments when DG is all tragic and dramatic. *g*
Okay, so I looked at the Klein bottle site and I still don’t know what it is. Maybe that means I need one. 🙂
It’s basically a visual math joke. Klein bottles have a single surface; the inside is the same as the outside. Sort of like a mobius strip but shaped like a bottle. Makes me giggle. And yes, you should have one!
Cool list. Those Klein bottles are great! I love opera (especially Mozart- Don Giovanni’s butler is a hoot!).
Have a great weekend.
Ann, the guarantee is hilarious. “Guarantee is void if your Klein bottle leaks into a 4th dimension…” Mozart was an amazing genius. Long weekend, hope you enjoy yours, too!
OMG, I loved Tales from the Crypt too! I can still remember a lot of them…
And I drink caffeine right up til bedtime without issue…
Jen, there are several stories from those Crypt comics that I never forgot!
I have to say that I’ve never really listened much to opera. Love the Klein bottle. LOL
Tales from the Crypt! I used to read the Rod Serling comics. There was another kind too, but darned if I can remember the name now. LOL
NJ, some of those horror comics were classic. Fangoria! Ah, memories. Fortunately, now we can call them “graphic novels” and cheerfully keep reading ’em. *g* And opera has some amazing, beautiful music. Like “The Flower Duet”, which is gorgeous. Or anything from Carmen. Ahhh.
