Tied Up, Tied Down

Just finished reading Lorelei James’ latest, Tied Up, Tied Down. Ahhh. Nobody writes cowboys like she does. I love the way she writes families and all the connections and complications, the way she writes about the west, and way she mixes hot and bothered with warm and fuzzy. Not just a hot read, but a comfort read at the same time. If you want a cowboy fix, go download Tied Up, Tied Down. Highly recommended. (Stands alone even if you haven’t read the rest of the McKay’s, but of course you’ll want to glom the whole backlist afterwards.)

Can haz bookmarks

Wicked Hot has bookmarks! Oooo, ahhhhh. I went to hit the local bookstores to sign stock, and to my delight they not only had more copies of Wicked Hot and Naughty Nights than I expected, they’d reordered some backlist titles. I actually ran out of stickers for signed copies! I did leave bookmarks in them, though. You can’t tell from the picture, but the texture’s great, kind of semi-gloss and almost waxy. I’ll be giving these away at the St. Martin’s signing, along with whatever else I have on hand, like my remaining Proud to be Wicked buttons.
