I assaulted the office yesterday. It’s far from done, but I made a lot of headway. Stuff piles up when we don’t have time to deal with it. I might go after the pantry or the coat closet next to get the instant gratification of a job I can finish in one morning.
Feng shui says to clean things out, even things you think you have plenty of space for like old computer files. Because clutter works against mental clarity.
Also, decluttering the desk means I can find a place to put my coffee cup. That brings me some mental clarity.
I’m spring cleaning myself, but can’t decide if this weekend should be the annual migration of the houseplants (with my luck next weekend would be another freak freeze).
Enjoy the day.
P.S. Could you post the recipe you found for your allpurpose cleaner? Would you say it works better than the storebought stuff?
For general cleaning, I just dilute vinegar with water. If you want to boost that, make a paste of baking soda, then scrub with vinegar and water. And yes, making your own does work better. Without the make-me-wheeze fumes!
Freezes keep happening; we hit 70s, and now snow is predicted. That’s spring for you.
I’m trying not to look at my husband’s office until he finishes teaching next month. It’s not pretty. LOL
NJ, I can imagine! School stuff piles up here, too. It kind of can’t be helped.
