Yes, I’m alive. I had to figure out some story issues, and I have (hooray) and I am now working to get stuff out the door.
Also having much fun with end of school year; since the kid finished all her classes early, there’s extra time to investigate whatever she wants. Art, archeology, whatever she wants to do, we do. And due to her fascination with the food chain I can now tell you that zooplankton eat bacteria while most plankton photosynthesize. Aren’t you glad I shared?
As long as you’re both getting an education that’s all that counts. 😉
Boy, are we ever. I can’t believe the things this kid absorbs, she’s a giant sponge. Of course, this is the kid who always wanted me to read her TS Elliot when she was 18 months old so I shouldn’t be surprised.
And in shades of things to come, I had to take David McCauley’s The Way Things Work away from the 3 yr old today. She’d run off with it. (Science and technology principles demonstrated by the woolly mammoth)
You never know when information about zooplankton will come in handy. 🙂
Very true. Maybe I will write about a marine biologist and need to know this. *g* (I’m not even going to imagine “werewhale”)
