Agnes and the Hitman is now in stores. Remember when I said this was one of the best books of the year so don’t miss it? Now’s your chance to nab it for $3 off plus a free paperback of Don’t Look Down. Such a deal! Click to download and print the coupon. (And if you want to pick up a copy of Wild Wild West while you’re in the bookstore, the cowboys will say “thank you, ma’am.”)

Turn on your speakers before you click, if you’re like me and work with sound turned off. Harvey Danger runs it up the flagpole! This video makes me miss working with a bunch of creative, energetic people. Yes, I know I “work” with lots of other writers, cover artists, etc., but it’s all telecommuting and not the same as hanging with ’em daily. My daily companions now are two cats stoned on catnip, the programming husband, and the small people. Of course, it is possible the small people are building devices for world domination with Legos and Bloks. They’re pretty creative and energetic.

I’ve been interviewed by Nikki of The Romantic Realm. Nikki is an excellent interviewer, she has journalistic instincts.
And I can finally show the world the new, improved cover for Miss Lonely Hearts. It’s fabulous and amazing and I love it. Squee!
